Hi! We will post a menu soon. We added it to Google a day or two after you posted this question but it apparently did not work as we intended. Thank you for your patience!
Glad to find such a good Korean place near campus. Tiny place but amazing food and service. Though the food is served very quickly, it is not ideal for a quick lunch. You want to stay here and savour the food at leisure, especially since it's served piping hot. Very wholesome and perfect for meals during wintry days! Vegetarian friendly too.
After a long day at work and cold weather, the dumpling soup really hit the spot. I didn't care for the texture of the pork in the soup but I prefer leaner proteins. I definitely prefer Kimchi Tofu House's soups over Korea Restaurant's!I got the dinner special, which included a grill item, so I got the beef bulgogi. It's better than the last time I ordered it here. But I still prefer Korea Restaurant's bulgogi over this.Be warned this is a tiny location with few tables. It's worth the usually short wait. I like coming here when the U is on break because it's less busy.
One of the better options for good food in the area. We enjoyed the dumpling ramen and black sauce ramen. Small space so it was very busy on a Saturday for lunch.
Foods are fine (although they used to be better before the original owner sold the restaurant), but the they're a bit overpriced. Also the air circulation is not very well designed, so you can smell the food all over your body even after you leave the restaurant.
I just love their food. I always get awesome service here. The place is neat and the cashiers are always very nice. Highly recommended.
You're in for a treat if you decided to visit this cosy Korean restaurant. I ordered the spicy pork with ham and tofu soup, which comes with a serving of rice as part of the dinner special combo.
The food is constantly well prepared and yummy, employees provides awesome service. I love how neat it is and ambience. I highly recommend this spot.
Very good Korean food. Soups are excellent, you can order to desired spice level. Spicy pork was flavorful but not spicy to me, others may find it spicy though. Very small place 26 or fewer seats. Service was good, found workers to be very nice and accommodating.
At the first moment you come to that restaurant the waiters give you a nice feeling. Very warm team, it is a friendly restaurant to enjoy with buddies or with your date. delightful cooking, creative chief cook and stuff, reasonable cost and generous service. Warmly recommended.
this is where i go for authentic non-pretentious korean food.
Food is good but the place is too small.
Absolutely the best, most authentic Korean eating experience I’ve had. Everything from the cramped seating, to the way service was provided, not to mention the over the top food. Dishes and cooking methods were spot on, the food was authentic and full of flavor. I have been looking all over the cities for an authentic Korean dining experience, and I certainly found it here! I had to wait for almost 45 minutes to find a seat, but it was most certainly worth it!! Hands down will be going back again, and I recommend it to EVERYONE who asks where they should eat in the cities!!!
I celebrated my PhD last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a outstanding evening and the place was indeed one of the reasons for this outstanding celebration. The stuff contributed in a gorgeous style, the meals were delicious and my guests were so glad. We shall no dout visit again for more celebrations. thanks very much.
The spiciness of the soup made me almost pass out but otherwise good price and portions.
Good delicious korean food. The restaurant is quite small and the seatings are limited though. I came in at lunch and it was busy. Regardless the food was served quickly.
The food here is excellent. It is always a good sign to see a little shop full with people waiting for a spot. We feel very satisfied in terms of flavor and quantity. I highly recommend the lunch special but it may be tooich for one person. The tofu stews are full of flavor and their spice scale is very accurate. Mild here is mild and enjoyable while mild elsewhere is burn your tongue off because they are trying to compensate for meh flavor. The meat here is full of actual meat instead of just fat which other places have begun to do. The sides are alright with some of them being is a bit salty. But the sides are just extra, the real food is wheat to focus on.
I admire this place a lot. theres a nice feeling. The cuisine is wonderful. the service is efficient and the team is friendly. The cost is fair. deeply recommend.
I come here a few times only as a treat becuase it's a bit pricey ( at least for the dish I get) but it is soo worth it. I'm so glad I discovered this place. I always get the same thing- Chicken Bulgogi, and each time it's better than the last. I'm very picky when it comes to trying new dishes but I am glad I tried this place.
BEST Korean food in the cities. It is very hard to get a place to sit during busy times so I highly recommend takeaway. If you're into spice, this is the place for you!
If you have not been here, you are seriously missing out! I try to limit myself to only two visits a month, but it’s hard not to come. Awesome hole-in-the wall Korean restaurant right on the campus of the U!
As an asian student from a country surrounded by ocean, I usually come here to enjoy some seafood in their “surf & turf” as well as their lunch special! Love this place!
Oh. My. Goooooodness. Yes. All the yes.
This place is the one I like best. I go to plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very welcoming and the food they place on your table is so delicious. I would always prefer to have a good meal in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.
Very good Bibimbap!
One of my go-to places to eat. very good location, neat, and fantastic customer service. I recommend this place!
Delicious stew at a good price. Seating is limited but we found seats for 4 at around 11am on a Friday. The lunch special of stew and a grill item sounds like a good deal and something I'll be back to try. They have a vegetarian friendly ramen so that's a bonus! Banchan is limited to 3 or 4 but the focus is the stew!
A restaurant with a great singular focus of food style. Soon tofu is a rather specific kind of food, so be aware that when you come, you know what you're getting yourself in to. The setting is an intimate one, where larger parties may have difficulty fitting in. However it is amazing for having dinner or lunch with good friends. The spice levels are well tailored. As a food suggestion, go for a combination menu and an additional tofu soup if you're with someone else! The bulgogi chicken is especially flavorful and juicy.
Absolutely in love with the tofu house, enjoy there very very spicy portions, if you're looking for something spicy and delicious this is definitely a great place to go on campus. Even if you can handle spice the have 0 spice options as well that are also delicious, there portions of meat is very generous and getting to crack the egg into your own stew and having it once the heat cooks it is absolutely the best. I will always personally come here if i want a good dinner that will fill me up!
Great place with great food, only downfall is that its small and only fit 20 people & hard to get parking unless you park on the ramp. Overall the food is great and the service is quick! Know what you want and it goes quickly. One of our favorite places to eat!
The tofu is AMAZING! It's super soft and smooth, it can literally melt inside your mouth. The soup is very flavorful and I love the fact that they have an option to adjust the spice level.
Had the bibimbap special with dumpling tofu stew. I didn't know what to do with the raw egg. You're supposed to crack it into you boiling stew when you get it. That cooks the egg! Spicy means spicy here.
Really frickin good!! You can make your food really spicy, or not so spicy. You get a lot of food for a decent price, but it is a small place so not good for big groups. A bit of a limited menu, but again - it's really tasty!!
Tiny shop full of big flavors. My favorite soup is the kimchi.
Good food. Good service. Good vibe.
I had a wonderful time in this spot. We liked the awesome vibes and the food. The staff members are super personal. I am content we finally decided to try this restaurant.
Best bibimbap! 🥢
very good; tastes like mom's homecooking!feels a little pricey, but it gave me two meals so I was satisfied. recommend to anyone who has the time and it isn't too busy. It fills up pretty fast.Food's piping hot when it comes out, do a little research on Korean cuisine before you go so you kind of understand what's on the menu!
Great cozy place that serves delicious Korean food with other varieties included in it too. I will definitely come back again.
Korean food is an acquired taste. I'm not sure why I haven't found a menu item that I love. Every time I try I'm not very excited about it. The service was fine. I'm really not trying to discourage anyone from going. It's done well as far as I know.
Great Korean food in an area with a lot of choices. Ordered beef and chicken and the plate came out filled with mounds of meat! Kimchi was on point along with the other side dishes they bring out. Only for sections of side dishes they bring out but all were good. Tofu is good but be careful because it comes out so hot it cooks the raw egg they bring out with it. Seems to be a family owned business with superb hospitality. Cost to meal ratio was amazing. Defiantly collage kids budget. Tons of flavor and cooked just right. Chicken was thick cuts but really tender. Along with the beef, smaller cuts but very tender. Small place, maybe holds 30 people tops. $-$$
Delightful flavors, fast service and cozy space. I got the seafood silken tofu - spicy. Highly recommend! A perfect meal.
Good food. I also like that their spicy levels mean something. I love spicy foods but wow, "very spicy" is decision you should not take lightly. The complimentary sides also reminded me of eating out in South Korea.
The customer service is constantly fast, excellent vibes, welcoming staff. I will return here again when I am in the area.
It's a wonderful little restaurant that specializes in soondubu jjigae. My favorite is the dumpling one. They give you a raw egg to crack into the soup and the soup is so hot it'll cook the egg. The soup will stay hot until the end of your meal. This is not a place to grab a quick bite unless you are Frozone.
Korean bulgogi was amazing 😉 try it for your self.
Absolutely incredible. Spicy pork bimimbap was exquisite. So much flavor. The owners are incredible and made the dining experience great. Can't wait to go back again.
The food was not bad actually. However, they treated me so rude and unkind. I ordered 8 orders of kimbap and wanted to pick them up in 1 hour. I knew that that was a huge order so called them as soon as they open. They blamed me that I should've called them earlier. They open at 10:30 and how? They just gave me 6 packs of kimbap instead of 8 without an apology. I wanted to help their business by selling a lot. There is no reason to be feel guilty just because I bought a lot. I WOULDN'T GO IN THERE.
LOVE this place! If your in the area an love food try this place. I get the chicken bulgogi spicy and it is amazing. The staff is very nice it's small so not good for groups but you should definitely give it a try.
Wouldn’t visit here again! I do not recommend eating here. The food is not bad. But they treat people rude and unkind. Even we felt very uncomfortable because the seats are too cramped, and you have to eat it with other people. The seats must be few so that everyone can fit and eat and chat without incident.
First of all, I don't even like tofu. But the tofu here is so soft you can drink it with a straw. There's a unique crave-worthy flavor, which I think comes from the stone(?) pot that was accumulated flavor over years, probably like a cast iron skillet or a wok. This restaurant in the winter is my comfort place, where I could be warmed up by spicy soup and look at the snow through fogged windows. The warmth, the smell, the flavor, the smile of the staff (The old chef retired unfortunately), is what I think of during meditation lol. Hell, I couldn't stop thinking about it when I lost my taste during tongue cancer treatment. The new male chef can be a little inconsistent, sometimes overcooked, sometimes too spicy, sometimes too bland. Although it could be because my palate is damaged from radiation...
